Mr. Michael Bartley
Principal - Yantai
Michael is an experienced Principal who has a wide range of education and experiences in, and outside of, education. He prides himself on helping students to acquire high self-esteem, self-confidence and skills indicative of higher learning to make sure they don't just get into University, but they excel when there and beyond. One of Michael's main goal is to help students to become positive, successful, life-long learners.
Mr. Josh Pisto
Vice-Principal - Tai'an
Josh is currently the vice-principal at CSSS. He was born and raised in the Comox Valley, in beautiful British Columbia. Josh received his Bachelor of Education from Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, British Columbia. He has experience teaching in British Columbia, South Korea, and China. Josh has worked for CSEEC for four years now. Before his tenure as vice-principal at CSSS, Josh taught and was the head teacher at CWSS.
Mr. Rodger Lindstrom
Offshore Schools Representative
Rodger has been the OSR for CSEEC schools for the past 10 years. Rodger has been an assistant superintendent in British Columbia and a principal in China. He is CSEEC's representative to the Ministry of Education. Rodger is there to guide employees through the visa application process and to assist with adapting to life in China.
Mr. David Cheng
Vice-Principal - Qingdao
David has taught in China for the past seven years. Prior to that he taught in British Columbia (North Vancouver and Surrey) for two years. He has been the vice-principal at CQSS for the past three years. David holds a Master’s of Education, and Bachelor degrees in education and science. He received all his degrees from Simon Fraser University, where he also worked as a teaching assistant for two years.
